As a Traditional Acupuncturist, my diagnosis and treatment reflects the patient as a whole and is therefore tailor-made for each individual. Stresses and strains of our Western lifestyle can take their toll: this gentle and therapeutic treatment rebalances the body and many people find the effect of acupuncture to be more far reaching than they expected.

PRICES: To cover part of the still substantially rising costs and as I did not raise my prices in 2025, the clinic needs to raise its prices from April 2026. I have limited my rise to a £ 2.00 (or less than 3.5%) increase on the follow-up appointments. From 1st April 2026, the follow-up charge (55 mins) will therefore be £64.00. The initial appointment cost will remain at £ 75.00, and IVF transfers will be raised to £ 150.00 for the two 55 min slots together. This slightly higher rate per appointment reflects the need for flexibility around treatment times/days outside of regular hours and/or the need to provisionally block off regular slots which might not be able to get filled at a later date. Apologies for the inconvenience this may cause.

The online booking facility is still disabled at the moment, but feel free to ring the clinic direct on 01483/723 688 to book an appointment. It has been my experience over the last years in clinic, that acupuncture has been an even more essential part of my patients’ physical and mental wellbeing.

Please read the following to be aware exactly what data is kept and how. For patients who attended sessions at my previous practice: it has now been more than 7 years since I have left that practice, so according to the BAcC and ICO GDPR rules, all remaining paper notes previously still stored there should now be shredded.

Adverse effects: Please note that “acupuncture” as a profession is not statutory regulated, so it’s important to always check your practitioners’ education level. As a member of the BAcC, both my initial training and continuous CPD will assure you that I have undergone many more hours of training than some “needling providers”. As with any medical procedure, there is always a possibility of adverse effects, but acupuncture is usually safe if delivered by a properly trained individual. You can read through some of the possible after effects and risks here, most of which are very mild.
